In Brazil, coral reefs are distributed along approximately 3,000 km of coastline, from Maranhão to the south of Bahia, representing the only reef formations in the South Atlantic. This piece is inspired by the sun coral (Millepora alcicornis), native to the Brazilian coast and a species of great ecological importance, as it provides shelter and food for other animals, such as fish and crustaceans.
