Sustainability

I strive to reflect and uphold my values through my brand.

Sustainability, environmental awareness, and transparency are considered in every aspect of my work. Below are some of the steps I take to make my business more sustainable.

  • The metals used are 100% recycled, sourced from old jewellery and production scraps from the atelier. For this reason, the atelier accepts payment in old silver and gold.

  • The gemstones are purchased from small businesses or independent entrepreneurs with whom I seek personal contact: I investigate as much as possible to understand the suppliers, trace the origin of each stone I purchase, and ensure the environmental and social standards of the mines. As a result, the atelier focuses on a limited selection of stones (Brazilian tourmalines and opals, crystals from the French Alps, and sea glass). The atelier deliberately avoids working with diamonds, whether natural or synthetic.

  • No plastic is used in the packaging, and recycled materials are used whenever possible. Some packaging elements are handmade, and all items are of high quality, with the hope that they can be reused. The packaging is carefully considered, designed to be precious yet free from unnecessary items to avoid creating waste.

  • Finally, the atelier is an artisanal, independent, and local business that stands against the trends of excessive consumerism and fast fashion. Each piece of jewellery is slowly crafted by a single person, using quality materials, and are made to last.

Although I am proud of these efforts, they never feel enough. I am committed to continuously seeking ways to improve the sustainability of my work and to contribute positively to the jewellery industry in this regard. I am always open to hearing new ideas and feedback for improvement.
